The Mission of the Howard Steamboat Museum
The mission of the museum is to preserve the Howard family story, their mansion and the history of their shipyards and to foster an appreciation of the development of river steamboats and commerce along inland rivers.

The HOWARD STEAMBOAT MUSEUM is open:
Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Admission fees are:
$5.00 Adults,
$4.00 Seniors,
$3.00 Students age 6 through college
Children under 6 with an adult free.
AAA and AARP members (with valid card) may deduct $1.00 from regular fees.
Groups of 10 or more (with reservations) may deduct $1.00 per person from regular fees.
Personal and informative guided tours are conducted as requested.

Ask us about using the Mansion and Grounds for: birthday parties, receptions, reunions, office parties or other private functions.
